We are looking for an experienced research professional to join our growing Global Research & Insights team to help us manage internal client relationships, build trust and drive strategy through insights.

Ideal candidates should have a contagious passion for research - as well as a keen interest in Pearson's mission and business toempower progress through lifelong learning.

You will work directly for the Director of Research, joining a a global team of energetic and passionate researchers who will simulate an agency model by being client-centric, dynamic and adaptable to perform at high levels, ensuring that insights are used and elevated within the organization to make strategic decisions at Pearson.

Because this is a newly formed organization, you should be comfortable in a startup environment, and be willing to roll up your sleeves and wear multiple hats as we get the function up and running in 2018.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborates closely with stakeholders to design, manage, and produce research projects that support the needs of the business

Manage research projects from conception to delivery, ensuring that excellence is achieved and maintained in the production of quality

Ensure that all programs and projects are aligned to business goals and are being delivered according to expectations

Establish best practices and consistency in research approaches across Pearson


4-6 years experience in client management in agency world, in marketing, market research, consumer insights, consulting, operations and/or communications

Deep understanding of research methods (qualitative, quantitative) as well as emerging methods (social listening, syndicated reports, analytics)

Must have demonstrated expertise with quantitative survey design and management, as well as advanced data analysis skills

Strong writing, communications and presentation skills - with the ability to distill complex data and insights into something digestible and interesting

Strong account management background, including past experience managing client accounts and business development

Higher / professional education, tech experience, and/or agency experience preferred

Persuasive and engaging communicator, the type of person who seeks out relationships and buy-in from clients and stakeholders within and outside the organization

Passionate about the "Ed Tech" industry

Ability to travel (up to 20%)
