Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of contract experience working in a technical environment.
2 years of experience working with internet products and technologies in software engineering, product management, engineering program management, technical account management, sales engineering, or a related field.

Preferred qualifications:
MS, JD or MBA degree, or similar advanced degree.
Experience in digital music.
Ability to work in a customer-facing or partner-facing role, including in the context of negotiations.
Attention to detail with the ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience.
Excellent written and oral business communication skills.
About the job
As a Technical Contracts Manager, you'll act as a trusted technical advisor for the YouTube Music and Subscriptions team to provide support on contractual matters and partner relationships that are key to the future of YouTube Music.

You will collaborate with our Legal, Business Development, Partner Management, and Engineering teams, advocating for technical best practices. You'll move fast while keeping your attention to detail and process, and you tap into your problem-solving skills to support business objectives.

Participate and provide deal support regarding the technical aspects of new agreements.
Take responsibility for identifying and raising technical concerns for new product offerings and services.
Work cross functionally in activities such as supporting contract negotiations, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources.
Interpret contract language into technical requirements, system design, and product features.
Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) by providing the necessary documentation and technical guidance.
