SensorThink’s digital platform combines IoT, automation and data analytics to deliver next-generation solutions to the warehousing and distribution industries. Our solutions integrate with management systems, devices and sensors to provide operational control. Relevant data is also collected and streamed to our cloud analytics solutions to provide strategic and tactical insights to our customers across multiple sites and facilities.
The Marketing Director will have the opportunity to help establish the brand and be a central player in the company’s growth. Experience in launching a software product or experience in enterprise software, especially supply chain is preferred. We are seeking a proven brand-builder in the technology realm who has strong product marketing, channel management, and demand generation skills. The right candidate will be accustomed to, and effective in, a start-up environment, also will understand the requirements of working for an early-stage venture, where flexibility, resourcefulness, creativity, aggressiveness, and drive are highly valued and have a track record of delivering results in that setting.
Essential Job Functions:
Development and implementation of the Brand strategy
Developing the marketing strategy for new and existing products
Overseeing implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR
Working closely with the company’s Sales team; enabling them to meet their objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials, and presentations
Guiding the day to day activities of the marketing team
Ensuring that the marketing objectives are implemented by the marketing team
Work closely with product management team to define marketing materials and programs
Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
Developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies for the organization
Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
Cross-organizational communication of plans and requirements
Coordination of product launches
Supports in planning and coordinating special events, and trade shows
Assists in organizing and implementing company marketing events
Communication with press and customer opinion influencers
Increasing visibility and growing demand for the company’s offerings
Qualifications and competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communication. Master’s degree a plus.
Minimum seven years of experience in marketing software solutions to corporate customers
Experience in enterprise software or supply chain management software
Experience managing the corporate website, tradeshows and developing effective marketing and sales collateral
Proven ROI on marketing programs in building and sustaining user base.
Experience overseeing corporate website
Creative and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work well with individuals from multiple functional disciplines are required.
Candidates should have strong analytical skills and sound problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent online, written, presentation and verbal communications skills.
Shrewd business judgment.
