Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor provides specialized behavior intervention services via clinical direction, supervision of RBTs, BCaBAs, and/or BCBAs, and general case management, which is within his/her scope of experience and competence.

Essential Job Functions:

§ Provide quality clinical supervision in accordance with BACB standards to ensure treatment integrity and quality assurance across clients, settings and funding sources to include: direct observation and protocol modification, as needed.

§ Conduct developmental skills assessments, such as (not limited to) the ABLLS-R, AFLS, and/or VB-MAPP, in order to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of individualized client treatment recommendations and objectives.

· Provide supervision and complete documentation in accordance with BACB standards for RBT’s, BCaBA’s and BCBA candidates, as needed.

§ Provide parent/caregiver education across clients to ensure generalization of skills and behavior reduction.

§ Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments, including Functional Analyses, in order to develop function-based treatments.

§ Provide accurate assessment of skills and direct feedback through completion of Performance Management metrics to other clinical team members (i.e., all Behavior Technicians and Program Supervisors).

§ Provide training, as needed, to teachers, therapists, parents, and/or others utilizing Behavior Skills Training (BST): discussion, modeling, practice and feedback.

§ If applicable, attend Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and/or other interdisciplinary team meetings and, when appropriate, present proposed goals and objectives, behavioral interventions, and possible modifications/adaptations.

§ If applicable, collaborate with school personnel by conducting student observations, providing written programming and/or behavioral recommendations, implementing training as necessary, and providing regular follow-up support, as authorized.

§ Remains current regarding new research, current trends and developments in autism spectrum disorders, applied behavior analysis, special education and related fields.

§ Represent Kadiant to clients and colleagues, both professionally and ethically.

§ Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records for all clients. This includes obtaining appropriate consent (i.e., consent to evaluate, consent to release confidential information) for all clients.

§ Maintain accurate timekeeping records.

§ Maintain an average of 5 billable client service hours per working day.

§ Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all Kadiant team members, clients, and other service providers.

§ Provide appropriate mentorship and support to other team members.

§ Complete administrative responsibilities directly associated with general supervisor requirements and case management across clients (i.e., billing, session notes, incident reports, analysis and summarization of data that drives individualized programming, monthly team meetings, etc.).

§ Complete accurate and detailed client reports including intake assessment reports, ongoing treatment plans, and client discharge reports within required deadlines.

§ Collaborate with other professionals to ensure continuity and/or coordination of care.

§ Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Member Handbook, and serve as a model to reinforce others following policies and procedures.

§ Perform other duties as requested.

Positions Supervised (Direct Reports):

§ Behavior Technicians, Senior Behavior Technicians, Lead Behavior Technicians, Program Supervisors and Interns (team members obtaining unpaid ABA experience), as applicable.

Minimum Education or Training Equivalent to:

§ Licensed or Board Certified Behavior Analyst, or other state-recognized license (required).

§ Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following disciplines: behavior analysis, education, or psychology, or related field (education required; listed fields of study preferred).

Minimum Years of Additional Related Experience:

§ Extensive experience conducting BCBA tasks (i.e., data analysis, programming, assessments, etc.) and/or working with those impacted by pervasive developmental disorders (required), across varied client profiles.

Licenses & Certifications:

§ Licensed or Board Certified Behavior Analyst, or other state-recognized license (required).

Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements:

§ Knowledge of the science behind Applied Behavior Analysis.

§ Sensitive to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population.

§ Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or equivalent, including Excel and graphing.

§ Knowledge of accessibility to relevant literature.

§ Effective organization skills, interpersonal skills, time management, and multi-tasking skills.

§ Communicate effectively verbally and in writing; American Sign Language or bilingual ability, strongly desired.

§ Consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.

§ Travel to multiple work sites both locally and within assigned division(s) regularly; reliable transportation needed; proof of valid driver’s license, current auto insurance identification card and registration, and clean Department of Motor Vehicle record; no conviction or pending driving under the influence prior to and during employment with Kadiant.

§ Maintain board certification (BCBA), including CEU credits, which can all be obtained internally.

§ Remain up-to-date on and follow all BACB guidelines regarding supervision of BCBA/BCaBA candidates, as well as RBTs.

§ Follow all BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts and maintain HIPAA compliance.

§ Maintain required trainings. May include state and funding specific trainings, such as CPR BLS training, physical management training (as applicable), and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse training.

§ Must clear DOJ/FBI background check, prior to and during employment.

§ Must provide proof of absence of Tuberculosis (TB) at time of hire and every 4 years, or sooner as required by funding sources, from last negative TB reading, and any additional follow-up testing.

§ Must provide immunization/immunity to Hepatitis B, Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps, Varicella, Pertussis (whooping cough).

§ Documentation of Physical Capability to Perform Services (with or without reasonable accommodation).

§ Permission to Disclose Health Screening Medical Information to required funding sources and complete background checks, as applicable.
