Gensler’s Seattle office was established in 2000 to provide services in architectural and workplace design to the Puget Sound Region. Our clients include financial services, professional services firms, corporate and regional headquarters, advertising, retail, academia, museums, and transportation. We're seeking a Sports and Entertainment Account Manager to add to our dynamic team. You will bring your architecture or project management expertise, along with a passion for sports and entertainment projects, into a thriving firmwide practice area to maintain and build relationships with appropriate client types.

What You Will Do

Foster strategic sports and entertainment business development.
Management of clients, including project organization and successful start-up.
Work in collaboration with other Gensler leaders in this Practice Area to leverage the capabilities of the Firm and help guide the practice within our Seattle office.
Partner with regional leadership to develop a standard of practice that addresses the unique requirements of this market sector.
Develop client and practice strategies, market positioning and leadership within a design practice focused on Sports and Entertainment projects.
Focus on talent development and acquisition.
Your Qualifications

Minimum of 12 years' experience.
Experience developing relationships with new and existing clients that would enhance the firm’s competitive advantage and positioning in the national and international sports market sector.
Experience in the conceptual planning, development and direction of architectural projects within the sports or entertainment market sector, with a range of sports project types with preference toward MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL and minor league and large collegiate projects.
Proven track record of success in working in a senior architect or project management role with a minimum of three (3) large to medium-sized clients.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Design or Interior Design.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to be articulate and convincing in interviews and other presentations.
Versatile, self-motivated.
Revit or other BIM experience highly preferred.
Excellent working knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures.
LEED accreditation and experience preferred.
