Operations Finance Aftermarket Shelton Overhaul & Repair is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Financial Analyst to join the Operations Finance team. Operations Finance covers new aircraft production, spares and repairs support. This position will perform financial analysis to support Shelton Overhaul & Repair. This position requires strong skills in financial and cost accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and internal controls. Individual must have the ability to analyze results versus forecast, investigate material variances and explain high drivers to management, provide indirect expense analysis, and communicate with IPT leads and other repair centers on a daily basis to gather and consolidate information. Candidate must be highly skilled in extracting and managing SAP/Business Intelligence/Hyperion data and using Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
Statement of Work (sample of some of the position responsibilities):
Planning, forecasting and analysis of financial activity and variances. Analyze indirect expenses, the Shelton O&R Overhead Rate (ORC), and capital expenditures to identify factors driving those results.
Assist in the capital expenditure request process, work with Operations on eCER preparation, and liaison with Operations and Management on project status.
Perform work order analysis in support of cost settlement.
Consolidate MRO product centers financial and operational metrics.
Provide audit support.
Take an active role in developing and supporting new tools, processes, procedures, and systems.
Provide shop floor support.
Ad hoc analysis as required.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Accounting, Finance, Economic or related discipline with 5+ years of professional experience.
Experience with manufacturing organizations and government accounting preferred.
