Under the supervision of a certified Behavior Analyst, assists Clinical Managers in conducting, developing, and implementing functional behavior assessments for individuals served at Program site. Observes the development, evaluation, and confirmation of clinical outcomes of behavior intervention plans and skill development goals for individuals supported.

These are unpaid internships for BCBA graduate students. The internship will be for Bancroft's ABA Center of Excellence where you will be assigned to various programs within the organization.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:
Interns will perform other behavior analysis and related duties as assigned. Interns must maintain confidentiality of the individuals served at all times. The intern may have the opportunity to do the following depending on the program interning in:

Collect data (primary or reliability) during preference, functional and treatment assessments.
Update session logs.
Input data (unit, skill, session, etc.) into Excel spreadsheets.
Create graphs of data.
Create data sheets.
Calculate data means for monthly summaries.
Calculate reliability data.
Collect reliability data for skill building protocols/goals.
Create functionally appropriate activities for Individuals Served.
Observe Grand Rounds, IDT/team meetings, Program Staff meetings, and family meetings as appropriate.
Attend morning rounds.
Attend and participate in discussion of behavior analytic articles during Behavior Rounds
Complete individual served case specific tasks (e.g., taking inventory of materials required to run behavior plans, laminating communication cards, copying data sheets, organizing clinical books, thinning and filing documents)

Interns must abide by the Bancroft Code of Ethics, Mission Statement, and Vision Statement in promoting ethical behavior, establishing relationships and providing guidance in decision-making situations.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field required.
Currently enrolled in an approved graduate program with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license.
Ability to successfully complete criminal background check.
