The Professional Edge Center at the University of Indianapolis seeks applications for an Assistant Director of Technology, Engineering, and Math. This is a part-time, non-exempt, non-benefit eligible, staff position. This position will be responsible for maximizing student integration with contacts from the world of work to create experiences for UIndy students through programming opportunities. The assistant director will be integral to developing students’ social capital; students will benefit from frequent exposure to professionals in their chosen field. The incumbent will possess and be able to develop professional relationships with leadership in industries, departments, and faculty in subject area of responsibility. Significant experience managing relationships with students will be a daily activity in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Meet one-on-one with undergraduate students
  • Create and develop special programming and networking opportunities
  • Cultivate current and new relationships with outside entities for student experiences
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of two years of experience is required
  • Seven years of experience is preferred
  • Resourceful attitude
