OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:
Supports the DOS in handling sales and marketing initiatives on a daily basis. Responsible for overall office administration of the sales office and its administrative functions. Engages the resources of Rosewood Hotel Group to optimize account performance. Resources include Director of Sales & Marketing, Marketing Manager and DOS.
Supports the Leisure Sales Managers and DOS in handling new sales inquiries and following up any group leads assigned. Responsible for overall office administration of the regional sales office and its administrative functions. Engages the resources of Rosewood Hotel Group to optimize account performance. Resources include sales leadership, hotel operations, functional groups (such as Revenue Management, Loyalty Program and Corporate Brand Teams) and senior management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly answers all general incoming sales and group inquiries/opportunities.
Builds rapport and effectively qualify each business opportunity.
Acts as a liason between Elite and Centurion agencies.
Be competent in taking sales inquiries for both accommodations, banqueting and events and be precise in forwarding information to relevant hotels.
Maintains an accurate and updated filing system of all correspondence.
Prepares and develop all expense related items and marketing presentations.
Maintains Marketing calendar.
Strives to meet measurable targets and goals, as assigned for individual and team.
Provides customer feedback to the appropriate Operating Department that supports continuous improvement of products and services.
Promotes the desired work culture around the core values of Rosewood Hotel Group.
Is a “Brand Ambassador” at all times and ensures brand integrity and clarity are always maintained.
Models the Company’s culture, vision, mission and core values at all times.
All other duties as required.
  • This position will be based in Florida.
Qualifications:
Diploma/College/Bachelor’s Degree or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Experience:
2+ years progressive work-related experience in the hotel industry is required.
1+ years sales or reservations experience in the hotel is required.
Hotel operational exposure (i.e. Front Office) preferred.
Experience with luxury entity preferred.
