C&C Cleaning Services is seeking a dedicated and reliable Evening Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment in our school facilities during the evening shift. This role is crucial in ensuring that our schools are prepared for the next day’s activities and provide a welcoming space for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
- Empty trash cans and recycling bins, and properly dispose of waste.
- Clean and maintain floors, carpets, and other surfaces throughout the school.
- Ensure that hallways, classrooms, and common areas are tidy and organized.
- Replenish supplies in restrooms and other facilities as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and use cleaning supplies and equipment safely.
- Assist with setup and teardown of events or meetings as required.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Additional Information:
This position requires the ability to work evenings from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
Background check and drug screening may be required.
- Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus.
