Training Specialist

Paradyme Management is looking to hire a Training Specialist for a full-time position supporting the development, maintenance, and sustainment of a Globally Deployed PeopleSoft Human Capital Management System. The Training Specialist will help perform all aspects of PeopleSoft training activities including: developing training materials, developing, testing, and deploying User Productivity Kit (UPK) materials, and planning and executing remote and live training sessions to students around the world.


Analyzes job functions and task skills; training audiences; training infrastructure
Assist Training Lead in gathering existing training curriculum and information that may be used to develop and assess the current/future training program
Assesses current roles and the skills needed to perform them within areas affected by implementation
Identifies broad areas of end-user learning and performance support needs
Create and maintain End-User Audience Analysis and Training Course Outlines
Obtains content developers from internal sources or outside sources (where needed)
Develops a detailed plan for the development and delivery of education/training materials required to support the new performance management technology, processes, and metrics
Evaluates if the end-user training product effectively created the changes in knowledge and skills specified
Develops Instructor-Led Training (ILT) design document, instructor guide and participant guide
Develops Web-based Training (WBT) design document, storyboard, courseware and end-user documentation that covers the required knowledge and skills
Perform internal training assessments
Create Training audit and evaluation methods
Create Training Material Development, including Orientation Materials (e.g. Train-the-trainer)
Create methodologies such as change management or train-the-trainer
Perform extensive international travel of up to 6 weeks in length may be required

Experience with Role-based training curriculum development
Experience with End-User Training Tools (ITL, WBT, User Documentation)
Ability to perform virtual and classroom training
Ability to make travel plans (e.g., airfare, lodging, ground transportation) independently

Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of the software development life cycle
4+ years' overall training delivery experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
Oracle User Productivity Kit Experience
PeopleSoft familiarization
Ability to analyze Design Delivery Implementations and Evaluation using ADDIE model

Clearance Requirement:
Interim or Active Secret and be eligible for a Top-Secret clearance
