Plant Program Manager

While reporting to the Divisional Automotive Program Manager, the plant Program Manager will have full responsibility for the coordinating and prioritizing resources across programs, departments, and entities to ensure that resource contention is managed from a global focus.

You will prepare and maintain project timelines / milestones, customer readiness forms, and monitor progress for multiple product builds.
You will interface with customers on complaint issues and liaise with Quality personnel throughout the life of the program.
You will work with cross functional internal and external team members to successfully execute internal and customer project requirements, from pre- launch, PPAP, SOP through EOL.
Coordinate or lead cross-functional teams to design and implement systems and processes to meet unique customer business needs and/or product requirements.
You will prepare and maintain project timelines / milestones, customer readiness forms, and monitor progress for multiple product builds.
You will submit packaging proposal on customer forms, obtain approval, and coordinate with Tech Center and/or returnable container supplier.
You will work with customers to launch new designs into production and implementing product changes.
You will lead feasibility meetings with the plant cross functional team on new product feasibility requests. Provide detailed feasibility feedback to the sales organization.
You will periodically make customer site visits

This position will be based at our Findlay, Ohio plant

A Bachelor’s in engineering or related field is preferred
A minimum of 3 + years’ experience in manufacturing
Knowledge of automotive component product lifecycle (PLM)
Knowledge of customer quality systems (APQP) and AIAG PPAP.
Knowledge of APQP quality principles, GD&T, SPC, capability analysis, corrective actions, etc.
Knowledge of quality systems, IATF 16949:2016, and ISO 14001, 9001.
Understanding and knowledge of manufacturing production processes and procedures.
Strong leadership, training, customer service, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills required.
