Prep Girls Hoops is committed to creating a first-class event experience and a platform for student-athletes to receive optimal exposure for recruitment and in-game development. As a Check-In team member, you will be at the frontline of customer service and support and an extension of our team. We aim to empower you to offer a top notch experience that coaches, fans, and most importantly - players - feel good about. This role will only require 2-3 hours of work and will pay a $50 stipend.
Responsibilities and Duties
Player/Team Check In. As players/teams arrive you will be their initial point of contact and check them in to the event. You will review their profile to ensure that they are formally registered and paid to compete.
College Coach/Media Check In. You will greet college coaches and media members that have RSVP'd and/or have been invited to the event. You will keep a solid record of the college coaches and media members that have arrived and provide them with the college coach/media packet for the event.
Hospitality Host (if applicable). You will ensure that the hospitality suite is set up, thoroughly, and periodically check to make sure that the suite is presentable advising the Prep Hoops leadership team when the room needs to be supplemented. This area will also be used as a place of security for personal property of college coach, media and Prep Hoops leadership staff.
Communication. In all matters, your communication with the Prep Hoops leadership team should be consistent and precise.
Qualifications and Skills
Customer Service. Proven ability of strong, friendly customer service skills.
Personable. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Organized. Strong ability to multitask and prioritize competing tasks.
Google Apps. Proficient in working in Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.
Attention to Detail. Exudes exceptional attention to detail when reviewing and working with volumes of data.
Positive Environment. We pride ourselves on our ability to set apart from any other tournament, nationwide, and we do that by delivering on a positive and inviting tournament experience for spectators, players, officials, etc. We do this by creating and encouraging positive staff morale and maintaining professionalism and proficiency.
