Vykin Corporation is currently looking for an experienced TS/SCI cleared Staff Officer to join our team in Reston, VA. We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned servicing the US Department of Defense. Support the Staff Director with in-processing and out-processing of contractors and support the DCTC security officer with day-to-day security processing.
Responsible for tracking and managing military awards, evaluations, and files and working with various services element offices at the agency’s headquarters.
Support the Staff Director with daily tasks from the agency on manpower and general staffing concerns.
Provide support to the Staff Director and DCTC Protocol Officer by preparing and hosting meetings with foreign or distinguished guests that visit the center.
Support training requirements, records, class schedules, and related efforts; and help run the DCTC 101 course that the center hosts monthly or on a regular basis as needed.
Bachelors degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of Staff Officer or related experience
An Active in-scope TS/SCI security clearance
The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment. The work location is a government facility located on a military installation in Reston, VA supporting a DoD customer. The successful applicant will be working for and reporting directly to the prime contractor or the DoD customer as appropriate.
