Overview:
Unified Women's Healthcare is seeking a per-diem Mammography Technologist for it's affiliated practice, Capital Womens Care. The Mammography Technologist is a Radiologic Technologist who performs Mammography procedures at a clinical and technical level not requiring constant supervision. The Mammography Technologist administers ionizing radiation to aid in the detection and diagnosis of breast disease through 2D/3D imaging exams. The Mammographer ensures a high level of quality and service is delivered to all organizational customers. When not performing mammography exams, the technologist will assist the operations manager with quality requirements and general administrative duties to complete patient care.
Hours: Must be willing to float between two locations (Fulton and Westminster, MD).
Tuesday 10 am - 7 pm at Capital Womens Care Fulton 7625 Maple Lawn Blvd #50 Fulton, MD 20759

Retention Bonus: Must attain 120 hours of work to receive a $1,000 retention bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Mammography Imaging and Quality Control

Complete Patient Information Requirements and Paperwork

Converse with Radiologist about Mammographic Exams

Support Manager with MQSA and ACR Requirements

Administrative Work to Complete Exams for Interpretation
Additional Job Functions:

All other job requests as assigned by Mammography Operations Manager, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator
Qualifications:
- ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required

ARRT Certification in the Registration of Mammography (M) Required

Minimum Two Years' Experience in a Mammography Position Preferred

State Department of Radiation Control License as Required by Location of Practice
