College credit is available for the internship, so please check with your school for all related requirements. We offer a modest stipend toward commuting expenses or a weekly "meal on us" if working from home. (We do not offer an hourly wage.)
This is an internship working with Event Production and with Media Production. Projects may include helping with (i) producing our 6th annual film festival in November (ii) producing education panels, (iii) graphic design, (iv) online marketing, (v) social media management, and more. If you want to learn about making movies, social media, graphic design and producing events, then this is your opportunity.
The start date is in June 2020.

We seek a gifted communicator, organizer and team player who can help with building community and managing events that serve a variety of members, including filmmakers, artists, and media professionals. Your responsibilities may include: organizing event schedules, research, writing, film production, managing attendees, managing communication, finding locations, finding speakers, working with sponsors & partners, graphic design, web admin, and social media.
Requirements: Be a nice person. Be able to write in clear and correct English. Be flexible, patient and talented. Also, be responsible, diplomatic, honest, well spoken, and resourceful. You must be proficient in MS Word and Google Docs, be physically located in the greater D.C. Metro Area and be available to work in Bethesda. Be a creative person at heart. [Enjoy writing, drawing, film/video, dance, music, etc.] Be able to efficiently learn new techniques and processes.
Skills Preferred: a Knowledge of Filmmaking, Web Design, and/or Adobe products (Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, etc) are a plus.
