Full Job Description
Support the Federal Electronic Health Records Modernization (FEHRM) office as a Project Director, responsible for driving the planning and analysis of joint electronic health records (EHR) system deployments at DoD and VA facilities that may share technology, services and infrastructure. Engage stakeholder entities across DoD and VA to collect information, develop approaches and brief recommendations. Collaborate with and provide status updates for client leadership, including analyzing, reviewing, and assessing data, reporting updates, and de-conflicting where needed. Decompose over-arching objectives into executable activities. Manage a supporting team of analysts and subject matter experts. Develop and recommend courses of action and conduct what-if analysis as required. Support enterprise-risk tracking, risk identification, risk analysis, and impact assessments.
15+ years of experience in a professional work environment
Experience managing diverse IT projects both large and small
Experience with systems deployment
Experience in tracking schedule and performance progress
Knowledge of stakeholder and project management methodologies, strategic information planning, business process re-engineering and structure and management practices
Ability to identify and mitigate risks to the program
BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, Systems, Business or scientific and technical discipline or an additional 10 years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree
Experience in the DoD, VA, or both
Experience with leading large, complex, multi-stakeholder analyses and planning for execution
