We are currently seeking a Software Engineer for our ADAS / Autonomous Driving team. This position requires a strong background in automotive simulation, modelling and testing.

Work on a state-of-the-art simulation pipeline for the test and development of ADAS/AD features allowing rapid definition and scalable management of the vast number of required scenarios

Integrate simulations with various closed-loop test environments like SIL and HIL

Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and testers to meet the necessary simulation targets

Demonstrate excellence in OO programming languages, such as C/C++ or Java

Familiarity with game engines such as Unreal and Unity, or automotive simulators (e.g. VTD, CarMaker)

Ability to write technical documentation

Strong communication skills

Efficient use of Linux scripting and automation capabilities

Knowledge with descriptive interfaces like XML, YAML

Experience with 3D modeling and CAD

Background in sensor and actuator modeling

Real-time performance optimization with and without multi-threaded programming techniques

BS minimum in the areas of Computer Science/Engineering, Data Engineering or other related fields

Ideally 3+ years of work experience or a Ph.D. in a related field

Advanced degrees preferred
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
- California (Bay Area) - $108,000 - $148,500
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
