Become an Information Security Advisor working with Information Technology at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. You will work as a part of the Service Management Office & Operations (SMOO) organization. The Identity & Access Management and Security quality engineer will ensure that IT services and processes are aligned to SCE’s target state IT Operating Model and with industry standards in the most efficient and effective way. This role is chartered to improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of delivering operational services to programs and projects within a multi-vendor managed service global delivery model.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!
Lead Engineering Services function for the Identity & Access Management and Security services delivered by the organization.
Collaborate with Managed Service Providers (MSP) to improve quality of engineering services by analyzing defect reports and incident trends post implementation to assess application stability/quality.
Oversee and review the product design and testing of the products/applications ensure proper architecture/design in order to maintain quality levels by minimizing defects and failures of the application.
Collaborates with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensures that effective corrective actions are implemented, and contributes to supplier quality improvement programs.
Lead Service Transition, Planning and Support (STPS) functions for the IAM and Security organization and services. Align project requirements to Engineering Services.
Participate in and perform reviews to assess production impacts and ensure operational readiness and alignment for projects.
Participates as a key role in the Planning & Scheduling governance function to ensure operational services are scoped and aligned with project needs.
Ensure Managed Service Providers (MSP) are reviewing and provide accurate cost estimates for services to projects through the Planning & Scheduling governance function.
Oversee the team’s technology roadmaps and alignment with Managed Service partners.
Seven years of experience working in Information Technology.
Two years of experience working with Identity & Access Management technologies such as (SailPoint IdentityIQ, CyberArk, Okta, RadiantLogic). (list as an asset question CAA along with some of the bottom).
Two years of experience leading projects or key business initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
Cybersecurity or Compliance/Audit related Certifications (eg. CISSP, CISA, CISM).
Two or more years of experience in DevOps/Agile/Scrum/Kanban.
Two or more years working within IT Service Management or ITIL processes.
Two or more years of IT portfolio and customer relationship management experience.
Two or more years of experience with Directory Services (LDAP, Active Directory).
Two or more years of experience with authentication & authorization services and architectures.
