As an interaction designer you will
Work on Erica, Bank of America’s conversational commerce platform. Erica is an AI-powered, voice/text digital assistant and the hub of our omni-channel conversational commerce strategy. We’re looking for a talented wireframe expert with and a knack for friendly, human dialog. You’ll analyze user intents, create detailed user and system flows, generate journey maps to show various paths through a conversation, and create annotated wireframes, including interaction specs, draft conversational copy, and exception handling. This is a great opportunity to work on an important mission with a fun, smart, collaborative group.

You’re a person who has (required skills)
5+ years of design experience
An outstanding portfolio that exemplifies excellence
Project lead experience with a track record of inspiring your team to deliver world-class design
Conversational UI experience such as chat, AI or VRU
Expertise in designing for mobile applications and responsive web
Mastery of Axure; proficiency in Keynote, PowerPoint, and Excel
Comprehensive knowledge of interaction standards and best practices

And you are a person who:
Thinks beyond individual design requirements and implementation details to consider how your work ties to the total project ecosystem and platform strategy
Is an enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and an intense focus on achieving results
Collaborates and builds trust with design, product and tech partners through Agile launch
Actively participates in design meetings and critiques, sharing your work and gracefully adapting to feedback
Owns your schedule and delivers on time
Embraces the opportunity to work in an office while collaborating with teammates and partners in other locations (not remote)
Is available to travel occasionally
You’ll be better prepared if you have (desired skills)
Bachelor’s degree in design or related discipline
Financial or similar industry experience
Agile experience
Decent grammar and a desire to infuse your work with conversational copy that makes it feel like even complex financial tasks can be easy…and maybe even a little fun
Mastery of human-centered design methodologies and rapid ideation processes such as Lean XD and Design Sprints
