Churchill Navigation is developing the next generation of airborne mission equipment — our products are used throughout the world in helicopters, airplanes, and UAVs for assisting first responders, monitoring wildlife and the environment, enhancing broadcast television, and much more.

Our hardware engineering team is focusing on high end airborne video acquisition and processing systems. We are looking for a talented and motivated developer with at least 3 years of experience in the field of electrical engineering to help us build the next generation of video recorders and cameras.


  • Develop high quality, innovative and cost appropriate engineering and product concepts
  • Effectively work independently, often without direction from a mentor
  • Design, implement and debug software, firmware, digital and analog circuitry
  • Integrate between software, firmware and hardware components

Required skills and experience

  • Excellent analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design, debug and analysis skills
  • Skilled in embedded firmware development and debugging, particularly for ARM Cortex-M series of Microcontrollers
  • Strong background of programming in C++ and object oriented design
  • Familiar with FPGA development methodologies including RTL coding and simulation
  • Experience designing PCBAs, preferably with Altium CAD
  • SMD soldering skills and hands on experience with lab tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies)
