About the Job

Our growing company is searching for a new Account Manager. The Account Manager is trained directly by our company's president--a great leader who loves to mentor. You will gain excellent experience and make high-level connections across a varied group of businesses across the country. In this role you will:

  • research great companies making innovative products that help make greener buildings
  • research PR & marketing strategies of high-level marketing and product experts
  • brainstorm and co-create intriguing editorial topics
  • learn from many seasoned professionals in the industry

Your industry research and outreach will help us identify great editorial and marketing partners, and ultimately bring on new clients.


This job does NOT require any direct selling to clients, but a great mind for business development, public relations, and familiarity with marketing is a plus. Additionally, we are looking for candidates with:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Minimum of three years full-time professional experience
  • Excellent organization skills (like, really, really organized!)
  • High, contagious energy
  • Ability to perform detailed research

Bonus Skills / Ideal Candidates

While not required, professional experience as an account manager, familiarity with the built environment, and a passion for sustainability a plus.


This full-time position includes a competitive base salary with high commission with top performers earning $75k - $85k.The position also includes health benefits, a health & wellness program, a company-matched retirement plan and paid vacation time. The work environment is comfortable but energetic, and the office is located a few blocks from the North and Clybourn intersection.
