Education and Experience
Master’s degree in social work, psychology or other related human service field required.
Registration/licensure as a social worker, counselor, or psychologist in the State of Michigan required. Certification preferred.
Infant Mental Health certification, endorsement or waiver required for 0 – 3 population required upon hire or within 3 months of employment.
At least one year direct clinical experience in providing therapy services to young children and their families preferred.
Provide comprehensive assessments and treatment planning with measurable objectives.
Provide support and crisis intervention with families and children involved with the program.
Assist in coordination and referrals of support services to parents.
Provide Outpatient child-centered therapy, parent/child therapy and family therapy services in the home environment
Provide parent education and guidance.
Work with the OB/GYN and/or Pediatrician team to coordinate overall health and wellness for clients
Work cooperatively as a member of a team with program staff and community resources.
Participate in monthly marketing and outreach activities, develop referral relationships with other agencies and maintain those referral relationships.
Maintain client files in order and up to date for the 0-3 program.
Submit timely and accurate documentation of services, billing data and required paperwork.
