Position: Project Manager
Department: Operations
Location: Baltimore, MD
Reports To: Director of Project Management
Company Overview
Blueprint Robotics aims to disrupt the US multi-family construction industry by bringing proven off-site automation technology and practices from around the world to the US. In the US, the construction industry, unlike the automotive industry, has delivered limited productivity gains remaining largely unchanged for the past 100 years with little to no automation added. However, in Europe, and parts of Asia, wood-framed construction has advanced to sophisticated off-site construction methods unseen in the US, until now.
Adopting European technology, Blueprint Robotics is an offsite building system for wood-framed structures that is simply a Better Way to Build. Benefits include:
● A much higher degree of cost certainty
● Significant reduction in material waste
● Higher quality of execution
● Reduces exposure to labor shortages
● Diminishes time and cost variability stemming from the complexity of scheduling various subcontractors, and weather
● Reduces overall project timeline, a significant benefit to builders
● No design limitations, a severe limitation of traditional US modular builders
Blueprint is rapidly expanding with its second manufacturing facility on schedule to open in 2024. Additional manufacturing facilities are anticipated to be added thereafter as the Company expands to address the well documented rapidly growing off-site building industry.
