Role and Responsibilities
The Market Intelligence Insights Intern will be working on consumer electronics market analyses that contribute to actionable recommendations for competitive marketplace advantages. This function is tasked with enabling Samsung’s sales and marketing teams to position Samsung products to outsell competition.
The position will be responsible for market analysis covering sales channel, competitors, products and industry, focusing on all Consumer Business Division product categories, including television, digital video, audio, imaging, IT and home appliances.
You will have the opportunity to work on a number of strategic projects as part of the Market Intelligence team to enhance critical deliverables to the product marketing teams. You will work to enhance the data visualization of analytics data to better allow marketing leadership to make informed decisions regarding competitive insights and threat assessments. Your project will help to develop advanced tools to help achieve these goals. Responsibilities include:
Support Market Intelligence team in weekly sell-through analyses for Consumer Entertainment product portfolio
Re-imagining of existing analytics data using new data visualization techniques via Tableau or equivalent
Develop templates and tools to enable the Market Intelligence team to better present complex data
Skills and Qualifications
Pursuing a BS Degree
Advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong / Advanced knowledge of Tableau or equivalent
