Location: Newtown Square, PA
Purpose and Objective: SAP America, Inc. seeks a Services Quality Specialist for our Newtown Square, PA office location to account for the quality management system, the quality goals, and the quality strategy of SAP Development.
Expectations and Tasks: Be the advocate for our customers in terms of quality. Increase the quality of SAP's products by enablement of the organization via knowledge transfer, increasing quality awareness and bringing transparency on product, process and project quality one step further. Drive software development process improvement projects in order to improve product quality. Transporting Q-feedback from customer into organization for the aligned development Quality Strategy, including hosting of Quality Management Meetings and QM-board and for the execution of QM-projects together with development units. Integration of consequences from strategy and results from projects into process framework. E2E quality governance of framework and programs/products. Project Management. Run and host Quality Management Meetings, Quality Management Board et. al. Collect customer feedback with regards to product quality and trigger actions. Derive Q-Strategy. Proactively define Q-framework and process framework. Govern programs and products. Run and participate in QM-like projects. Research new quality assurance techniques, including piloting and roll-out into development. 30% travel required.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, Information Systems, or a related field and 3 years of experience, or alternatively, a Master's degree and 2 years of experience.
Work Experience: Experience must include 2 years of experience involving the following: Project management, including end-to-end assembly and development of support packages and actual development and customization of SAP Solution Manager; SAP Solutions and NetWeaver Technology; SAP BASIS; SAP Solution Manager strategy and scenarios; Technical Root Cause Analysis including Product Innovation Lifecycle (PIL), Process Standards for Quality and Governance, SAP EarlyWatch Alert, SAP WorkLoad Analysis and Support package development & assembly techniques; Run SAP Like A Factory (RSLaF); SAP Early Watch Alert (SAP EWA); ABAP and DATABASE Programming; SAP Application Life Cycle Management; Software Logistics for ABAP; Software development, design and development of bug fixes, and assembly of these developments into a customized and tailored Support Package. 30% travel required.
