We are excited to announce an opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Associate to join our dynamic team at the Center for New Medicine & Cancer Center for Healing. With our combined facilities spanning 30,000 square feet, we have become the largest Integrative Medical Clinic in North America, serving over 65,000 patients from around the world.
As an HR Associate, you will manage a variety of administrative tasks, including onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, while ensuring accuracy and compliance in HRIS data entry. You'll also participate in employee disciplinary meetings, assist with terminations, and conduct exit interviews. Additionally, you'll support the performance review process, maintain employee files, and provide customer service by addressing employee inquiries. The role also involves managing employee leave of absences, assisting with recruitment efforts, drafting HR documents, and contributing to ad-hoc HR projects. You'll stay informed on HR best practices and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Duties
· Manage administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, ensuring accurate HRIS data entry and compliance.
· Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
· Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective actions if necessary.
· Assist with the processing of terminations.
· Support the preparation of the performance review process.
· Maintain and update employee files.
· Provide customer service by responding to employee requests and questions.
· Complete and verify I-9 documentation and maintain I-9 files.
· Draft and edit HR-related emails, letters, and documents.
· Assist with staff recruitment as needed.
· Administer and manage FMLA/CFRA and other employee leaves of absence.
· Maintain and manage staff required trainings.
· Contribute to ad-hoc HR projects, including gathering employee feedback.
· Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
· Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in human resources or related field.
· At least one year of human resources experience.
· PHR, aPHR, or SHRM-CP preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
· Meticulous attention to detail required.
· Strong organizational skills required.
· Effective HR administration and people management skills required.
· Must be familiar with HR regulations.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information required.
· Skilled in Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
