Primary Responsibilities:
This position provides manufacturing team leadership to one or more production lines within the department.
Distributes and ensures flow of work is consistent with requirements.
Supports company's lean process and works to improve processes and flow.
Ensure tools and equipment are properly calibrated.
Ensure calibration, chemical and consumable dates are current.
Accurately read blueprints. o Perform preliminary review on non-conforming material.
Demonstrate proper use of hand and machine tools.
Demonstrate proper use of electrical/mechanical measuring devices.
Monitor for accuracy of processes and resulting costs.
Accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.
Coordinate workflow and priorities through the production line.
Demonstrates above average abilities in performing Technical Tasks.
Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Comply with all rules and regulations of United Technologies, including, but not limited to Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance and Human Resources.
Complete assigned tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.
Check work methods and results for conformance to standards and re-instruct as required.
Report to supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Ensure all products produced meet quality standards.

Assist supervisor and/or provide direction and leadership. Ensure work is accomplished with high quality, in a timely fashion and is compliant with the company’s standards.
The ability to guide others and direct a team.

Qualification:
Basic Qualifications:
At least 1-2 years’ experience in Operations.
Ability to read prints and follow assembly instruction.
Must be able to effectively work in an environment requiring repetitive job responsibilities.

Must be highly motivated and dedicated to exceed customer expectations.
Must have demonstrated above average performance in prior roles.
Must demonstrate high level of professionalism and set the example in regards to our Code of Ethics.
Coordinate work priorities with production lines.

Must be available for overtime, including extended workdays and weekends.
Comply with EH&S policies and procedures at all times, including wearing appropriate PPE.
Attend EH&S trainings as required.
Report unsafe practices and/or conditions to the appropriate individuals to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards. Recommend improvements to EH&S practices in order to create a safer workplace.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
