What we are looking for:
We are seeking an Operational Risk Consultant to join the ECIO Technology Risk Audit Management Team. This position will engage with multiple risk and control stakeholders across Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) to assist in coordinating and execution of internal audits performed by Wells Fargo Audit Services. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to: facilitate communication of evidence requests from second line partners and external auditors to control owners, support program initiatives and collaborate with partners to align with program deliverables.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
As part of the Front Line Unit, this role provides leadership support to ensure that audits of ECIO Technology Division are executed effectively. The role will primarily support the coordination of execution of the annual audit plan along with partnering with the appropriate Divisional Operational Risk Management contacts, EIT Control owners, and Wells Fargo Audit Services.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Manage all ECIO internal audit engagements
Complete pre-audit readiness assessment
Collect and validate artifacts prior to WFAS submission
Validate all Wells Fargo Audit Services observations
Coordination of management’s response to Wells Fargo Audit Services findings.

Required Qualifications

6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
5+ years of data management experience
5+ years of data warehouse experience
5+ years of database experience

Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Program management experience
Experience communicating with business partners and project managers
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor, (CISA) Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional, (CISSP) or other risk management discipline certification
Experience communicating in both written and verbal formats with senior executive-level leaders

Other Desired Qualifications
Strong risk & control fundamentals, knowledge of frameworks and methodologies, common implementation challenges.
Experience in evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures & controls.
Experience in review & development of risk & control ratings.
Experience in assessing risk, writing issues and developing appropriate corrective actions.
Demonstrated negotiation skills, especially with difficult topics when partnering with senior management. This includes the willingness and ability to question decisions, understand direction and escalate issues, where necessary.
Demonstrated experience with both strategic and tactical approaches to risk management.
Track record of providing constructive challenge with appropriate issue escalation and offering solution

Salary Information
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
