Salary Range: $50,199.00 - $65,829.00 annual (new hires start at the minimum)

We are currently looking for an individual to work as a Head Clerk at established retail locations as part of our new Sports Betting division. As a working supervisor, you will oversee the Sales Clerk staff and be responsible for the operations of your assigned retail location(s). Not only will you ensure accuracy of sports wagers, you will also: coordinate office workflow; determine priorities, schedule, assign, oversee and reviews work; establish and maintain procedures; provide staff training and assistance; conduct or assist in conducting performance evaluations; maintain or oversees maintenance of office records and logs; act as liaison with other operating units, agencies and outside officials, regarding agency policies and procedures; prepare reports; perform a range of clerical procedures which may include such things as processing, reception, filing, record-keeping, bookkeeping and typing; perform related duties as required.
Experience and Qualifications: To be considered for this opportunity, you should have knowledge of office systems and procedures; ability to perform a full range of clerical tasks; interpersonal skills; oral and written communications skills; skill in performing arithmetic computations; ability to schedule and prioritize workflow; ability to operate office equipment which may include personal computers, computer terminals or other electronic equipment; ability to read, understand and apply a variety of materials; some supervisory ability.
You must have three (3) years of general clerical experience, preferably in a retail environment. Must feel comfortable interacting with members of the public. Cash handling experience is also preferred.
Physical Requirements: Incumbents in this class may be required to stand for extended periods.
Hours: Normal facility operating hours will be 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. daily including weekends and holidays
