Under supervision of the Manager of Central Intake, position is responsible for the processing of referrals and coordination of service delivery after regular working hours. Receives referrals from the community regarding children seven days a week, 24 hours a day, on a rotating basis. Supervisor will provide services from home or office as scheduled.
Job Duties

Determines the need for on-site intervention/assessment of cases referred during assigned working hours; assigns referrals to caseworkers; contacts workers and directs their activity; assigns, prioritizes and coordinates the work of Crisis Workers during assigned working hours; documents referrals and other activities accomplished on cases received in SACWIS; forwards all referrals, activity sheets, scheduling of staffing, etc., to the appropriate district by the following business day; consults with on-call management staff regarding placements and unusal or critical situations; makes recommendations for hiring and may recommend discipline; responsible for completing evaluations for staff in program; participates in departmental, division and agency meetings as requested outside of above stated regular work hours.
Minimum Class Requirements

Supervisor 1:
BSW or a bachelor's in a related field with five (5) years of CWC experience; LSW preferred, but not required. Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Supervisor 2:
MSW or a master's degree in a related area plus five (5) years of PCSA based child welfare experience plus two (2) years supervisory experience in child welfare. LSW/LPC licensure from the Ohio Counselors and Social Workers Board is preferred, but not required. Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance.
OR
BSW or a bachelor's degree in a related area plus five (5) years of PCSA based child welfare experience plus two (2) years of supervisory experience in child welfare. LSW/LPC licensure from the Ohio Counselors and Social Workers Board is preferred, but not required. Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Supervisor 3:
Master's degree in Social Work or related area plus five (5) years PCSA based child welfare experience, plus five (5) years of supervisory experience in child welfare. Two (2) years of supervisory experience must be post-master's degree. Must possess LSW/LPC licensure from the Ohio Counselors and Social Workers Board. The advanced license of a (LISW or LPCC) from the Ohio Counselors and Social Workers Board is preferred, but not required. Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Training & Development

All applicants who are extended a conditional offer of employment will be required to take and successfully complete a screening for substance abuse before beginning work.
