Full Job Description
The Enterprise Integration Engineer serves as the senior subject matter expert for Oracle SOA Suite middleware and is responsible for providing solution development, operational, and project support to empower business users and support future upgrades. The Enterprise Integration Engineer leverages deep business process knowledge and technical experience with Oracle SOA Suite middleware to drive continuous improvement and process simplification - The Enterprise Integration Engineer partners with key stakeholders to understand business needs and formulate solutions using Oracle middleware features and industry best practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Technical Knowledge & Skills
6 to 8 years hands-on experience with the entire software development lifecycle i.e. requirements, design, implementation, integration testing, deployment and post-production support
Experience in at least 1 full life-cycle projects using Oracle SOA Suite Middleware products (e.g. BPM, Oracle BPEL, Mediator, OSB) to integrate enterprise-level applications is preferred
Strong hands-on experience with creating Service Oriented Architecture solutions using Java-based technologies and J2EE
Around 5+ years of experience in analysis, design and development of enterprise applications using SOA, BPEL, Java, J2EE, and Database technologies (Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle OSB, Oracle BAM and Oracle Weblogic)
Expert at working with Oracle SOA Suite SCA composites and components like BPEL process, Mediator, Business Rules, Human Workflow, and activities like Assign, Invoke, Pick, Receive, Switch, Flow, Java embedding, Email, Wait, While, Validate etc. in JDeveloper
Experienced using the following SOA Suite technology adapters for integration with Oracle ERP and external/legacy systems: Database, JMS, B2B, FTP/File Web Service, BAM, and Oracle applications
Experienced in designing and building robust and fault-tolerant middleware components in BPEL and OSB using the Oracle Fault Management Framework and catch/compensate activities
Worked extensively with Oracle RDBMS; Comfortable with SQL, PL/SQL, and developing various database objects like Triggers, Stored procedures, Functions, Sequences, Views etc.
Strong communication, motivational and presentation skills.
Ability to multi-task and work independently.
Highly motivated, results-oriented, self-driven IT professional; Good team player.

Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and effectively communicate with stakeholders and vendors at all levels

Education, Experience and Certifications
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
Minimum of 6 years of experience in supporting and implementing Oracle Middleware SOA Suite 11g and 12c
Experience in food and beverage industries, process manufacturing or a related field preferred
Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud is a plus
