Reporting to the Practice Manager, Referral Center and Physician Services (“Practice Manager’), the Physician Services Practice Coordinator is responsible for the supervision and oversight of the day to day administrative operations of the Physician Services department. This includes but is not limited to ensuring the effective oversight and mentoring of the administrative employees in the Physician Services department in order to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of both Care Dimensions (“CD”) internal and external customers. The Physician Services Practice Coordinator ensures compliance with Care Dimensions’ standards, philosophies, and policies.
Qualifications: Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree a plus. Minimum of five years’ experience in a medical facility or medical office setting. Demonstrated skill in managing communications and coordinating activities in a multi-disciplinary setting. Excellent organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Proficient use of MS Office/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook and agency specific systems and databases required. Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion including the handling of highly confidential medical information. Excellent, effective interpersonal skills with the ability to function as a positive member of a team.
