SSL CORE Engineering provides opportunities for junior engineers who endeavor to develop a broader and more diverse skill set within the company. CORE engineers have the potential for rotation opportunities where they are able to gain experience in different technical roles across different engineering departments. Additionally, CORE engineers receive guidance on career development and overall mentoring.
CORE Engineering management is seeking an applicant for an intern position who will act as a liaison between the CORE Engineering manager and HR while supporting CORE engineering functions. The ideal candidate will need to be comfortable speaking in large groups, prepare presentations, and schedule events as needed. Prior experience is preferred but not required. This position will report directly to the CORE Engineering manager but will also work closely with HR.
- 20 to 25 hours a week
- Junior or Senior standing in one of the following degreed programs: Business Admin, Economics, or Pyschology
- Proficient in MS-Office
- Takes initiative, self-led, and can manage ambiguity
- Must be available to start immediately. This is an internship during the school year that may run through the summer depending on business needs.
