Perform routine testing and inspections of safety systems and equipment.
Responds to site customer requests for repairs and installation of equipment and systems.
Coordinate outside vendors who support JLL operations for plumbing systems.
Assist with preventative maintenance work.
Assist in expediting work for small in house projects. Work on steam and condensate systems.
Assist Maintenance Technicians or any licensed trades person.
Complete all records and log sheets and submit required reports.
Respond to emergencies at any time.
Must have knowledge of the principles and best practices of plumbing systems and maintenance. Understands the codes and regulations related to plumbing systems and components.
Skilled in use of tools and machinery required by the position. Knowledge of OSHA standards, Plumbing standards and local codes and the ability to work safe. Use of power and hand tools.
Proven knowledge of technical terms used in plumbing field. Knowledge of building tools and equipment.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
Must possess a valid Journeyman level plumber’s license. Must possess a valid state driver’s license in good standing.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Understand and follow oral and written instructions. Must have computer skills in Microsoft Office or equivalent.Must be able to follow instructions and work alone or as part of a team. Must have good general maintenance skills. Good verbal communication and excellent customer service skills.
Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports. Must have a high level of attention to detail.
PHYSICAL WORK ENVIROMENT AND CONDITIONS Able to lift 30 lbs. and work off ladders and scaffolding. While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
