Painter Bros seeks a qualified, high energy, dynamic self-starter in the role of Estimator.
The Painting/Project Estimator works with General Management to provide timely, accurate, complete, and fairly priced bids to prospective and regular customers of the company.
Estimator sales leads are generally referred by the call center but may also be organic or direct sourced.
The Estimator functions as a knowledgeable and trustworthy advocate for the customer, providing sound guidance and advice regarding any customer technical inquiries or general questions related to products and services provided by the company.
The Estimator provides, where prudent, opportunities for the customer to consider the full suite of products and services offered by the company.
As with every Painter Bros employee, the Estimator shall make every effort to ensure that the highest degree of customer satisfaction is maintained from inception of the customer relationship to after sales or service.
The main focus of the Estimator’s interaction with the customer is generally throughout the sales cycle, however this position is the first face of the company to the customer and shall remain available to customers before and/or after the sale, as requested by the customer or directed by Customer care.
Participates on Company-sponsored sales training programs and follows the fundamentals learned in relation to customer engagement, retention, and closing.
Advises customers on standard painting processes, techniques, and standard. Estimates labor and materials for customer projects. Measures, calculates, and records the project area. Captures detailed records of customer requirements and requests to include in project scope, to include photos.
Proactively engages customer using engagement, relationship, closing, and other sales tools, as trained.
Ensures customer is aware of all applicable programs and plans that may be applicable to the project scope, to include the 12-month touch-up plan, Customer Care Program, etc
Collaborates with the Project Schedule to ensure all project details are captured and understood.
High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred, or combination of education and experience required. Four plus years of experience in estimating or similar field. Customer service, working with customers and clients, preferably in a painting, construction, service, or similar industry experience preferred.

Salary: $50,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
