Director, Finance Operations - Point& Pay - Oldsmar, FL
The ideal Director, Finance Operations, for Point& Pay, will manage and develop a high performing team, have accounting, budget management, forecasting, and data analysis experience. This role is a hands-on position responsible for the preparation of budgets, financial reporting, some treasury functions, and interface with 3rd party vendors, as well as internal partners.
What else you will be doing:
Guide, direct and develop department personnel.
Oversee and validate the financial results for the company including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in partnership with our parent company’s shared services finance team.
Own process and 3rd party relationships (i.e. Banks, NAB-Parent Company, EPX-Processor, etc) to ensure accuracy, timeliness and of all financial data.
Oversee and validate all general ledger activity.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly and year-end close process.
Own process for year-end Sales team’s residuals and commissions.
Review accounting procedures and implement best practices, increasing efficiency and timeliness.
Prepare and monitor the annual budget and updated forecasts.
Develop and maintain operational and financial KPI’s.
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports.
Implement and oversee quality controls to validate cash management and treasury function.
Own the internal annual budget process and partner with parent company to incorporate output into their process.
Lead Reengineering of our return/chargeback management process and its client inputs and touchpoints to become faster and easier for clients and a selling advantage for the company.
Responsible for monthly invoicing of clients
Responsible for monthly payouts of partner revenue shares
Participate in annual PCI, security, business reviews, and audits
Establish job assignments for all department personnel.
Establish process for quality controls and alerts for the settlement process
Assist with a variety of special projects as needed.
What we need from you:
Bachelor’s Degree required in a Business or Finance related field or equivalent experience.
5 years minimum of progressive experience.
3 years budget development management experience.
Experience managing and developing a team.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong reasoning skills and the ability to present possible solutions to management.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Credit Card interchange, dues, assessments, fees, and related concepts and programs.
Knowledge of Interchange/Cost Plus programs, Discount Rates, and hybrids.
Team and personnel development.
How to be an all star:
Experience with credit card and ACH exceptions management.
Experience in a financial services or payment processing company.
Comfortable working with and in large data sets sources from multiple databases and formats.
Travel: up to 25%
