The Jay Morrison Academy is seeking an experienced Marketing professional to join the team as our Educational Real Estate School Sales Manager for our portfolio. This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to build and manage a thriving inbound and outbound sales team.

Working under the direction of the Operations Coordinator and collaborating with the Executive Team and supporting team members, as well as other Jay Morrison Academy departments, you will be responsible for increasing sales, to include but not limited to: managing commission splits, building training curriculum, developing scripts, and providing fresh sales campaigns.

Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Managing Inbound and outbound sales team
  • Developing and mentoring sales team w/ daily sales training
  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • Managing Commission structure
  • Daily reporting to Operations Coordinator and Executive Team

Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
  • 3 years of Real estate experience (own property or relevant real estate experience)
  • 3 years sales management
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
