Summary:
Goldschmitt and Associates is seeking a skilled and dynamic Business/Data Analyst with specialized expertise in automated facility management systems. The ideal candidate will combine business process analysis with data-driven insights to support the optimization of facility management operations within Veterans Affairs. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, performing data analysis, and supporting the implementation of automated facility management systems to ensure efficient operations and data accuracy.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze current facility management processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to leverage automation technologies.
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications for automated facility management systems.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis on facility management operations, including equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and resource utilization.
- Develop data-driven strategies to optimize facility performance, maintenance planning, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Implement and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports to monitor facility management operations and system performance.
- Support the integration of automated facility management systems with existing organizational processes and IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with facility management teams to perform fit-gap analysis, identifying opportunities for automation to streamline operations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for facility management and maintenance standards.
- Lead the development of transformation roadmaps, providing recommendations for system improvements and process automation.
- Provide ongoing support, training, and guidance to facility management teams on using automated systems and interpreting data insights.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of combined experience in business analysis and data analysis, with at least 4 years of experience in automated facility management systems.
- Expertise in automated facility management systems (e.g., Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)).
- Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven ability to conduct business process reengineering (BPR) and fit-gap analysis within facility management operations.
- Familiarity with facility automation, building management systems, and smart building technologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of facility management regulations and standards, including energy efficiency and sustainability practices.
- Possess and maintain an active Public Trust with the United States Department of Veteran Affairs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, facilities management, or a related field preferred.
