TITLE: Associate Product Manager
DUTIES: DFS Services LLC seeks Associate Product Manager in Riverwoods, IL to develop, maintain, and present the vision and road-map for the business' initiatives. Create the product vision based on a thorough understanding of customer and business needs and is both internally and externally focused. Guide both requirements and the corresponding work needed through grooming and prioritization, by taking responsibility for "content decisions" and what gets implemented. Manage timelines and feature delivery and remain flexible as we learn, iterate, and integrate in an effort to deliver functionality on aggressive timelines in a scaled agile framework. Participate in portfolio grooming to understand initiatives and business cases. Help break down initiatives into prioritized features and manage the program pipeline (backlog) of these features, for every release and Program Increment (PI). Build an effective functional program grooming team. Ensure features and technology releases align with product vision and are delivered on time. Develop and communicate the product (DCX) vision roadmap-adjusting to changing market, customer and/or organizational needs. Identify and resolve gaps in the platform to meet the demands of high value product use cases. Build an effective functional program grooming team. Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to the technical and developer community. Analyze, research and follow trends in the industry and assess emerging products and companies to measure their potential value. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: analyzing external and internal data and processes to identify gaps and opportunities; performing market assessments and coordinating research studies, identifying technical problems and initiating and performing root cause analysis to recommend solutions in partnership with cross functional teams; utilizing data platforms, including banking-finance and payments processing, mathematical and statistical analytics, Big Data, R, and Ab-Initio; and utilizing Data Lake, AWS, Python, R, Ab-Initio, Snowflake, and Teradata. In the alternative the employer will accept three (3) years of academic studies towards a Bachelor’s degree in one of the above-listed fields, and two (2) years of relevant experience to meet the education requirement.
