SAIC is currently seeking an Arabic speaking Open Source Analysts who provides analysis services for a Government agency. These positions will identify and analyze information within the open source environment related to terrorism, political violence, threats, and suspicious activities.
Provide research, triaging, and interpretation of open source data pertinent to assessments of threats, suspicious and hostile activities and significant events.
Conduct intelligence analysis in order to produce reports, responses, artifacts, recommendations, findings, and products to priority intelligence requirements as directed.
Provide the ability to translate narrative using colloquial slang words and phrases.
Provide regional expertise to include the ability to translate with correct cultural and ethnic context.
Utilize numerous datasets, specialized tools and advanced techniques to identify potential threats.
Develop and maintain SOPs to ensure the highest quality of data evaluation – to include maintenance to living databases.
Support required trainings, tools evaluation, daily briefs and policy developments
Build and maintain relationships and collaborative networks to share information, best practices, and lessons learned.

Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience or 7+ years of experience with no degree.
Experience includes conducting open source and academic research, all-source intelligence and targeting. No substitution of education or training may be made for the required experience.
Minimum of four years’ experience in open source concepts, methods, and practices.
Machine language translation methods and advanced search techniques, information databases, data visualization, and related tools to conduct complex open and all-source source investigative operations.
CONUS and OCONUS travel up to 10%.
Foreign language research methodologies using internationally-focused Web sites to conduct complex open and all-source source operations.
Experience with qualitative and quantitative techniques, Internet-based research, including Boolean logic, search engine and database resources, and Internet sources, such as social media, social networking tools, data exploitation, and commercial- and industry-based database.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to prepare and present open source trends, promote information sharing with other organizations, provide advice and guidance, present and defend recommendations, and participate in meetings.
Previous experience with the Department of State is a plus.
