Printpack US is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Business Development . This position will report to the Business Development Manager. Location for the role is negotiable after selection. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience in business to business sales with a specific focus in and quantifiable successful track record of prospecting and closing strategic business at new customers. The role is primarily focused on winning new business (80% New) with some limited time spent on account management and growing recently acquired customers (10% Retention, 10% Up Sell). Responsibilities include: Pursues targeted business at selected high potential prospects with >$2 million in sales potential Manages, supports, and grows a new account for one (1) contract cycle Utilizes sales process, tools, and elements of superb communication to understand the decision making process and to identify business results and personal wins for each individual involved in the buying process Secures and conducts face to face meetings with buying influences Develops mastery of Printpack products, services and offerings to identify articulated and unarticulated needs of customers and potential solutions Works closely with Product Development, Market Development, Marketing and other support functions to differentiate Printpack from competitors and competitor offerings Provides prospects and customers with unique, critical perspective on improving their business and outlines the ROI of the commercial relationship Manages and prioritizes sales pipeline through Salesforce CRM Negotiates to create value for Printpack Supports qualification and start up efforts for secured new business Requirements include: A Bachelors degree is required, preferred areas of study include Business Administration, Marketing and Engineering Experience working with consumer packaged goods companies and/or OEMs is preferred Excellent new business development and sales skills Thrives on prospecting and generating new business Ability to travel at least 50%+ of the time Competencies desired: Sales functional competencies Critical Thinking – Find effective solutions by taking a holistic, abstract or theoretical perspective Influence – Gain others’ support for ideas, proposals, projects and solutions Organizational Awareness – Understand the organizational structure, culture and politics and navigate the organization to achieve results Self-Awareness – Seeks, maintains and applies an accurate understanding of his or her strengths and weaknesses and how these behaviors impact others Strategic Agility – Continuously adjust and adapt strategic direction and develop innovative ways to create value Business acquisition competencies Communication – Clearly articulate ideas and perspectives and persuade others in interactions and conversations, presentations and written documents Creativity – Develop previously unseen ideas and solutions that support the development of new and improved methods, processes products or technologies Social Intelligence – Effectively navigate and negotiate complex social relationships and environments Common traits of high potential candidates: Resilient Courageous, comfortable challenging the status quo Competitive Assertive, takes initiative Intellectually curious
