Administration of company wide Payroll policies, procedures and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements
Electronically file and upload HR and Payroll documents by organizing old/new files
Processing payroll for all employees through Payroll/HRIS (main payroll, special runs, bonuses, and housing)Responsible for completion of various institutional reporting processes, annual, quarterly and monthly
Responsible for ACA Reporting, internal audit collaborations, and workers compensation reporting
Manage deductions and earnings as they pertain to employee benefit enrollment, on-boarding, retirement programs, stipends, and clergy pay, etc.
Processing of manual checks
Computer literate with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Ministry Works platform a plus
Must be Tactful have professional communication abilitiesResponsible for tracking and correctly entering open enrollment deductions annually and as they change throughout the yearAbility to display discretion with all matters and information related to personnel as well as any things pertaining to Payroll and Human Resources Department

This is a REMOTE position only.
Assist with day-to-day operations of the Payroll Department including the administration and set up of Payroll, Workers compensation, Payroll related functionality in correlation with Benefits, and retirement program. Manage all quarterly and yearly reporting to various institutions. Assist as needed with low level HR administrative tasks and various clerical needs.

REQUIREMENTS
Must Have:
- 1-3 years of Human Resource or related experience
- 3-5 years of Payroll processing or related experience
- 5 years mid to high level administrative office skills
- Advanced level of expertise of Microsoft office
- Experience in church payroll a plus
- Be detail oriented with strong communication skills
- Be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Fluent in English (Spanish as a secondary language is helpful)
- Experience in ACA reporting, Workers compensation, and garnishments a must
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $66,600.00 - $67,000.00 per year
