As a thoughtful leader you will be a core leader of INNOCEAN’S Promotions Department leading a cross functional departmental team to ensure the delivery of experiential and sponsorship marketing projects with high quality service, so that all client needs are met on time, on scope and on budget.

You will manage multiple experiential projects at various high profile events for the Hyundai Motor America client. This position will focus on development and execution of experiential strategies and activations for properties such as, PGA TOUR golf sponsorships, ride and drive programs, concerts, festivals and numerous dealer initiatives.

Principal responsibilities include leading the experiential team in pre-event concept planning and presentation, budgeting, post event communication, reporting and working cross-functionally with other internal agency departments supporting the programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a leader in the department, the Director of Experiential Marketing is responsible for overseeing management of the department’s experiential team, focusing on excellent service delivery to our client
Act as an advisor to assigned client(s) by developing short and long term communication strategies through experiential marketing and sponsorship activation
Take an ownership role building the client’s business, generating new strategies and anticipating integrated marketing needs
Ensure that all projects are executed to plan through managing the internal team, agency resources and workflow process
Fully understand the client’s business and maintain current industry knowledge
Development of a positive, partner relationship with all client contact
Ensure that cross-department project teams produce all client work with the highest level of quality, ensuring that creative is on strategy and executions are flawless
Take an active role in providing mentorship and contributing to a positive work environment
Take an active role in building a positive agency culture
Provides input into staffing plans and budgets
Responsible for developing, tracking and reconciling project budgets
Provide council to assigned team and clients
Requirements

A passion for experiential marketing and sponsorship activation
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a service role in an agency with a focus on experiential marketing and sponsorship activation
Previous experience working on an automotive account and/or professional sports sponsorships would be an asset
Demonstrated creative and critical thinking with the ability to build programs from concept through to execution
Ability to advise and mentor on the event execution processes
Solid understanding and ability to apply integrated marketing strategies
Track record of building strong long term client relationships
Pension to drive for results and highest quality standards
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to keep composure in high pressure situations
Commitment to continuous improvement and lifelong learning
Superior organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
Proficient in MS office
