Raytheon Missile Systems currently has an opening for a PC / Client Server Analyst I to perform in our Tucson, Arizona location. The selected individual will primarily be a System Administrator who will be responsible for performing a full range of Information Technology functions within classified and unclassified program areas. This position ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software, and related procedures adhere to organizational- and security-based policies. This role will act as a key stakeholder in meeting program milestones by integrating technical, schedule and resource requirements with interactions with internal / external users such as function / government / customer entities’ and vendors. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

Provide technical support to end-users who need assistance utilizing client level hardware and software
Plan, implement, and operate networked services and systems, to include hardware and virtual environments
Setup and maintain systems including installation, configuration, and updating of hardware and software
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Security Clearance: Candidate must possess an Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance and be willing and able to obtain additional clearances and program access. Security clearance must be adjudicated within the last 6 years.

Install, configure, and maintain workstation and server hardware and software
Implement and Troubleshoot Technical Security Controls
Update Malicious Code Detection System (e.g. Antivirus definitions)
Create and Modify User Accounts and Associated Access Control Lists
Install Software Patches/Updates and IAVA (or similar) Updates
Perform Data Backups of networked systems
Install and Configure Security-relevant Software by partnering with Global Site Security (GSS)
Perform and maintain system inventories (hardware and software)
Communicate directly with customers to define required tools / resources, investigate new procedures, and / or identify and resolve Information Technology issues
Ability to prioritize a variety of Information Technology requests
Ability to work in team environments and collaborate across multi-disciplines

Required Skills:
U.S. Citizen
Active Secret security clearance with scope

Experience in Windows System Administration:
Windows desktop administration (Windows 7 or newer)
Windows Server administration (Windows Server 2012 or newer) to include infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.
Experience researching compliance issues, and formulating recommendations to management
Must be able to lift 35 pounds in support of hardware installations
CompTIA Security+, or equivalent DoD 8570 certification for IAT Level II, within 6 months of hire

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience or in lieu of a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, 8 years of related experience

Highly Desired Skills:
An active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance or prior SCI/program eligibility
Direct working experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, and/or DoD/RMF
In-depth working experience in Windows Server 2008, 2012, or 2016
Knowledge of data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions
Familiar with TCP/IP, switches, firewalls, routers, and their basic operations
Patch management experience using Windows WSUS or SCCM
Knowledge and experience using Information Technology project lifecycle
Experience with license managers in a Windows or Linux environment
Direct working experience with NISPOM, JSIG, and/or DoD/RMF
Solid experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX virtual computing methods
Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development
Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, Exchange, and Lync
Working knowledge of Backup Exec, NetApp Snap Protect, data backup technologies, systems principles, and safeguards
Advanced scripting experience
Basic understanding of Oracle and SQL databases
Experience using Network Appliance FAS Series Systems
High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment
Experience in Project Leadership, Management, or Project management in an IT domain
Basic Windows scripting
Desire and ability to work as a contributing team member
Effective customer and communications skills
Ability to work under time constraints, Self-Starter, Customer focused, adaptable and willing to work varying assignments
Organizational skills to include: attention to detail, time management and ability to multitask
