The selected candidate will be primarily responsible to perform Scheduling tasks related to capital projects in the design and construction phases. Under the supervision of the Director Schedule Controls or a senior scheduler, the candidate will develop CPM schedules and will monitor and control design and construction schedule activities utilizing project controls techniques and methodology. The candidate will be required to generate and analyze a variety of reports including schedule bar charts, evaluation of the Critical Path, resource allocation, and project schedule analysis utilizing the Primavera P6 scheduling software and Microsoft Office.

Education and Experience

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, business administration, or public administration; or

2. A masters degree in architecture that is the first professional degree in architecture from an accredited college or university.

Desired Skills

Knowledge of college-level schedule control techniques and methodology.
Courses in Construction Management and Construction Scheduling techniques.
Knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software and Microsoft Office.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Appointment may be at a comparable level to current level of selected candidate (if necessary). As an employee of NYC Transit, you may be required to complete an annual financial disclosure statement with the State of New York, if your position earns more than $97,448 (this figure is subject to change) per year or if the position is designated as a policy maker.
