We are based in Norwood, Massachusetts, which is comfortably within the Boston metropolitan area. HMF's facilities include a state-of-the-art plant, and R&D facility, as well as warehouse and Corporate functions. Summary

The Inventory Controller will be responsible for overseeing inventory flow throughout the production site, ensuring both accuracy of inventory levels and FEFO of product. This position requires someone with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with management, floor personnel, and other internal departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Leads and manages physical inventories process of all site components
Owns site cycle counting processes and systems
Researches and resolves inventory discrepancies with warehouse team
Maintains strong dotted line ownership to cycle counting team
Processes and posts physical inventory transactions in the system
Assists in troubleshooting functions related to shipping/receiving/production/consumption
Acts as key/super user for Microsoft Dynamics Navision system
Works independently with little direction
Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree required
Familiarity with inventory management documentation and processing requirements
Knowledge of ERP systems required, Microsoft Navision experience preferred
Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Advanced Formula creation)
Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills, to include working effectively with co-workers by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
