Essential Duties

Ensure Outback Steakhouse Brand standards in place
Operations Standards – Observe and report on compliance with regards to Customer experience, recipe adherence, preparation, service times, equipment, facility maintenance and food safety
Marketing – Ensure all Menus (core food and beverage items), Promotions and Customer Facing Creative have gone through the approval process and follow Aussie Rules Guidelines.

Optimize Business Performance of Franchise Partners
Coaching to positively impact operations effectiveness (in store and with JVP visits). For example, on key gaps: coaching franchise JVPs to consistently execute steaks, baked potatoes and Bloomin’ Onions
Share best practices between company and franchise
Support franchise restaurants to maximize P&L – i.e. reducing waste, maximizing throughput
Effective communication and liaising between franchise and home office
Sharing best practices back with BBI enterprise

Regional Testing and Approved Exceptions
Support local tests with training, follow up and coaching
Follow up on established test criteria and results to assist in overall evaluation
Ensure test or project was trained and executed as approved

Participate in Business Review Meetings Between BBI and Franchise
Provide operational insights / trends from area visits to help franchise improve overall operations and efficiencies
Summarize and share findings from tests and best practices to share with enterprise

Training and Implementation support / consultation
Training systems consultation / support provided and ensuring training systems in place
New Initiative Implementation consultation, support and training
Restaurant validations to coach on recent changes and ‘make it stick’
Support New Store Opening project planning, communication with home office and training support
Support and onboarding of new franchisee and Management Teams as needed
Training content support as needed

Experience/Skills:
High Performing Partner / JVPi performer - demonstrated ability to drive customer, sales, traffic and profit results. Strong understanding of food, beverage and service standards
Ability to influence and impact franchise above restaurant and entity leadership
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently
Can think creatively to find solutions, as well as comfortably work with ambiguity
Proactive, anticipatory orientation - works with the end state in mind to drive results
