As a key member of the brand team, the Director will lead the P2P marketing efforts for
efgartigimod in generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) through highly effective initiatives. The
Director has responsibility for the identification and engagement of key opinion leaders (KOLs),
planning and execution of advisory boards and generating insights, innovation in P2P programs, disease state and promotional medical education, speaker identification and training, speaker bureau content, and materials for field-based teams. This role partners most closely with Senior Director of Marketing, Director of HCP Marketing, Director of Marketing Operations, Head of Medical Affairs, Director of Scientific Communications, Medical Research Liaisons, Launch Manager, and other cross-functional partners on planning and implementation. The Director also delivers on key brand expectations such as Brand Planning, Tactical Planning, Launch Readiness Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead for P2P strategy
  • Contribute to the development of the annual brand plan with responsibility for defining and executing key areas within the associated tactical plans
  • Recommend priority activities and investment based on commercial value
  • Develop and refresh materials for specific field-based teams for interactions with healthcare professionals
  • Gather market intelligence (eg, competitive, customer insights) to inform strategic P2P plans
  • Prioritize, develop and implement disease state and promotional education tactics
  • Lead KOL identification, mapping, and engagement planning
  • Develop plan for ongoing KOL engagement and act as argenx liaison to KOLs
  • Lead execution of advisory boards
  • Identify key insights from advisory boards
  • Develop and present advisory board summary reports to cross-functional team members
  • Lead innovation in P2P programs (live, virtual)
  • Builds and manages the speakers’ bureau, leveraging KOL identification results and engaging field-based teams to identify speakers
  • Gain feedback on and track marketing program effectiveness and continuously strive to optimize P2P programs
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to optimize execution and pull-through
  • Manage project timelines, including development of work plans and routing of all promotional materials through medical, regulatory and legal review
  • Ensure compliance with finance and budgeting practices, and appropriate management of resources
  • Ability to travel up to 50%; some overnight/weekend commitments

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • ≥6 years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience
  • Brand Marketing and US launch readiness experience
  • Leadership through influence and with impact across teams and business units
  • Experience collaborating with external experts, cross functional partners, field based teams
  • Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical

  • Track record of increasing responsibility within roles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's in Health Sciences or additional education in biology, chemistry, life sciences
  • 3+ years of experience in rare disease and/or neuromuscular conditions
