Job Purpose
The Department of Pediatrics, Immunology, Allergy and Retrovirology Service is seeking a Project Coordinator II.

The Project Coordinator coordinates and administers clinical research or administrative projects. May include project concept design, project implementation, and project clinical and cost outcome responsibility. Will include community outreach and enrollment into trials involving people with HIV or who are at risk for HIV.

Job Responsibilities
Oversees the development and implementation of clinical research projects. Most projects will involve improvements in care and prevention of HIV infection.

Enrolls participants on research projects. Most projects involve enrollment of participants who are at risk for or who have HIV infection.

Reviews records and reports of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified project objectives; recommends modifications to methods or procedures as required to redirect activities and ensure that objective is attained.

Prepares recurring program reports for management use.
May participate in preparing grant proposals to federal agencies and private foundations.
May develop databases for the research or administrative project.
Participates in planning meetings at the inception of new research or administrative projects.
Analyzes data and makes recommendations.
Interacts with faculty, staff and students to promote the goals and objectives of the project.
May present project data and components to health care professionals.
Minimum Qualifications

Required: High School graduate/GED.

Required: Three years of directly related experience.
